Fans down under can’t get enough of Las Vegas rockers Imagine Dragons, with thousands of pre-sale tickets snapped up yesterday to the Grammy-nominated band’s Evolve World Tour, which heads to Australia and New Zealand in May 2018.

The ‘Thunder’, ‘Believer’ and ‘Whatever It Takes’ four-piece are touring their global chart-topping third album Evolve. In response to the soaring demand on pre-sale, Frontier Touring are thrilled to confirm a second Melbourne show, set to take place at Margaret Court Arena on Wednesday 16 May.

Tickets to all shows on Imagine Dragons’ Australian and New Zealand tour go on sale (Thursday 1 February) from 10am local time.
 
Capping off an epic 12 months, Imagine Dragons celebrated their two Grammy nominations this week for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. They started 2018 with an early performance in Singapore, with Bandwagon describing the inspired, neon-blazed performance as “nothing short of glorious”.

Frontman Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman were ranked the sixth most streamed band on Spotify worldwide in 2017 – a truly huge feat. “2017 was a massive year for us,” Platzman recently confessed to Billboard. “To release Evolve, to get the response we got just blew us away – we were not expecting it. I’m honestly scared that 2018, if it’s any better, my heart will just explode with joy.”
