Introducing
REQUESTIVAL
Where every single song on
triple j
next week is by request!
.
.
That’s right, for a week from Mon 25 May, triple j listeners will take over the station’s music programming for the first ever Requestival.
Every song played between 6am – 9pm each day will be made up of requests from triple j listeners.
That includes every peak daytime show, as well as Live at the Wireless, Friday Mix and House Party, so don’t just limit your requests to your most listened to, start thinking of your fave live tracks, remixes and guilty pleasures too. We also promise to play songs that have rarely or never been played on triple j. You might even hear *that* song.
All you need to do is download or update the triple j app to make your song request.
We also want you to tell us WHY you’re choosing those songs. Relive a memory, give a shout out, share a secret, tell us about the time you [redacted] to that track, or just make your case as to why the nation simply MUST hear your song.
We’ll be featuring the best stories behind the requests and will give away brand new triple j hoodies to some lucky requestors.
So download or update the triple j app, then request a song and claim bragging rights as we pump your fave tracks from Mon 25 May – Sun 31 May.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
