Today, Sydney-based vocalist and songwriter, MAXINE arrives on Australia’s burgeoning R&B scene with her magical new single and video, “Do It”.

“Do It” sees MAXINE share intimate love stories over layered harmonies, as her flawless honeyed vocal hooks fall neatly within a delicate push pull rhythm. An organic 70s soul-styling arrangement sees electric guitar flourishes echo the talented artist’s every line. Enunciated beyond her years, the soft-flowing retro-R&B nuances of “Do It” are fittingly captured in a visual accompaniment made up of mood-lit slow movements starring MAXINE and a love interest. Produced by Kamaliza Salamba and co-produced by Chunkyluv, the video is a glowing sequence of scenes in the couple’s relationship as they share vulnerable moments together dressed up or down, always comfortable in each other’s presence.

MAXINE on the single: “I wrote ‘Do It’ to commemorate a deep love, that I found that totally encapsulated my mind, body and heart. With the music video, I wanted it to express the power and strength that the love gave me through intimacy and closeness to help my audience to understand my idea of love on a more personal level.”
