Isaiah has an incredible story. As a young boy he had nothing, except a dream. He attended high school on the banks of the Murry River and went without food in order to fund the 6 hours of travel that was required to get to his singing lessons each Saturday. He couldn’t borrow a dollar to buy lunch, but he knew his dream would become real, and one day he would be an international recording artist.
In the past three years, the talented teen has transformed from a small town singer to one of Australia’s most successful artists. Along the way he’s won The X Factor, was signed to Sony Music, represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 finishing 9th .
His debut single released by Sony Music ‘It’s Gotta Be You’ has notched up over 230 million international streams. This statistic put Isaiah in the position of having the highest streaming song of any Australian artists in 2018. Isaiah’s incredible voice has been the reason for the songs high connectivity world wide.
The next big musical statement from Isaiah due for release in early July, ‘Spirit’ is a stunning ballad which shares the heartbreak of finding your spiritual side after being lost within yourself for a long period of time. The song reflects on the love affair between your mind and soul, the longing for the two to be connected and the beauty found when the two finally meet again. This song ‘Spirit’ is a gift to Australia and his people.
Isaiah has a 50 date tour called ‘Spirit and Beyond’ which will see him travel to all corners of Australia over 2019 with his live show to sing his new song with communities who are challenged by hardship. This substantial tour starts in July and spans into October, travelling across Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria.
Isaiah will personally connect with young people in each community through his workshop called BEYOND. After having run this workshop successfully across Australia over the last 2 years, Isaiah will take the discussion to country Australia and talk about his journey and how he overcame diversity to reach his dream. As a leading indigenous mentor, Isaiah will be sharing his ‘no shame’ message to kids so that they can follow their creative path with confidence.
Isaiah’s 80 minute live show will see his award winning band hit the road. The tour will see a lot of his original material performed as well as his favorite chart topping hits which audiences will sing and dance to. Isaiah invites local community groups to join him on stage to sing Spirit, and will be meeting everyone after his show.
