Signed, stamped, sealed ‘n delivered from the US of A, record label, WINSPEAR, has parcelled up some gems for your Saturday arvo. A label full of buzz, promise and talent, they have gifted three acts who are yet to grace our Aussie shores. You’ll be able to check out American up and comers, BARRIE, VIDEO AGE and MAJOR MURPHY. Too cool!
Bookending the Winspear curation, are sets from MARGARET GLASPY and SONNY and THE SUNSETS. No strangers to Australian fans, both have blitzed our live venues in years past. Margaret has a new record this year, and Sonny hasn’t yet toured his 2019 joint, so you could consider this an express shipping of nothing but the hottest hits. LIVE. FROM. HOME. TOM GRAY, of the legendary indie band, GOMEZ, has recently founded #BrokenRecord, a movement that acknowledges the inequity of streaming splits, and the disparity of a system that sees all the money go to a tiny portion of the market. And the artist, who generally creates the music in the first place, gets next to nothing.
Isol-Aid has invited Tom to have a Q&A about all things music, #brokenrecord, and the best approach for a unified push for a more equalized distribution of funds. And then, in furthering the message, Tom has selected a few of his faves from the UK. Audiences will be treated to the sounds of JOHN SMITH, PENELOPE ISLES, WILLIE J HEALEY and IMOGEN.
Closing it out for #13 on June 13th (yipee!), LUKE PEACOCK has brought a selection of incredible First Nations artists to soundtrack your Saturday evening. He’ll be preceded by wonderful sets from BALAIRI and JINDHU, before finishing things off with a set of his own.

It’s getting chilly out, so why not snuggle up on the couch this Saturday. Chuck the footy on mute, heat yourself up something tasty, and enjoy the home delivery of absolute scorchers from your friendly friends at Isol-Aid!
Handled with care,

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
