First into the water is Melbourne raised, London based (and currently back in Melbourne for a visit) THOMAS HEADON. Getting his start busking and recording covers of his fave songs on youtube Thomas has grown into a bit of a master love song writer. At only twenty years old and fresh in a new city Thomas spent 2020 releasing two EPs and is back in Melbourne for a run of shows. If you haven’t asked your crush out yet Thomas’ suite of unrequited love songs may just give you the confidence you need to do so.

MAY-A is a 19-year-old Byron Bay-raised producer, singer and songwriter. Prolific but patient, MAY-A has so far shared a trickle of singles that have been carefully winnowed from hundreds of demos, the result of years spent crafting tracks on her own. Untangling how she makes sense of both herself and the world around her, MAY-A interrogates the realities of youth with clarity and maturity beyond her 19 years. Her understated indie-pop is a compelling, endlessly empathetic document of her adolescence as it unfolds before herself.

MASKED WOLF has spent years working on his art, first putting pen to paper when he was 13, clear that failure is no option and that his lyrical poweress shines through. With his own unique style and sound he brings a true injection of culture and finesse that sets him apart from the rest. Having released a slew of music in the past two years and signing with US label Elektra Records, Masked Wolf now finds himself on Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25, as one of the fastest-rising artists of the month.

Rising pop icon SARAH SAINT JAMES rounds out the night with her captivating and bitingly honest pop tunes. Coming up in the electronic music scene Sarah played everywhere from Stereosonic to Future Music Festival as a live topliner and only started writing for herself in 2018. Since the release of her first track Sarah hasn’t stopped with each new song melding edgy bubblegum pop with sharp witticisms that really make you think and keep you dancing for days.
