The 59th edition gets off to a roaring start with some silky rhythmic grooves from New Zealand local MUROKI. Having grown up by the water, the laid back surfing and skating community he’s always been part of has imbued his music with an effortlessness that mesmerises all, including Benee who played his track on Elton John’s radio show. His smooth vocals and gliding melodies will melt even the toughest of us.
ALICE SKYE is a singer-songwriter, Wergaia/Wemba Wemba woman and universal little sister. Releasing her second album I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good in July this year Alice continues to look inwards, finding staunchness in softness. Alice’s emotional transparency targets the push-pull of the relationships we keep with ourselves and others, instilling a healing ode to life and getting by. This past year has seen Alice join Midnight Oil on their Makarrata Live Tour, feature on Moby’s latest album and take to the triple j airwaves with a Like A Version, proving she is truly rising to meteoric heights.
Wrapping up the night is Melbourne based rockers BAKERS EDDY. Bringing rollicking live shows and infectious melodies that will be stuck in your head for days to come the band have cemented themselves as a staple of the local scene. They’ve supported everyone from The Rubens, Gang of Youths and WAAX and have become festival favourites, playing Falls, NYE On The Hill and Party in the Paddock. Loud, fast and dirty Bakers Eddy’s raucous energy has been winning over crowds nationwide.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
