Italian superstar ZUCCHERO “SUGAR” FORNACIARI launches second single from his new album “D.O.C.” out now.
The uptempo opening album track called Spirito Nel Buio (Spirit in the Dark) is produced by Zucchero and Don Was. Says Zucchero – “It is a story that intends to generate a strong sentiment of hope and collective joy. The main theme of the video is a little flame, representing life and strength, passing from hand to hand and symbolically travelling the world and bringing some “Spirit in the dark.”

With over 60 million records sold and a world tour commencing down under, Zucchero will bring his energetic show to Australia this April performing in Sydney and Melbourne before heading to Bluesfest in Byron Bay. Tickets are on sale now.

In December 2019 Zucchero performed as part of Trudie Styler and Sting’s 30th Anniversary Rainforest Fund benefit concert in NYC hosted by Robert Downey Jr. The show’s line up included Sting, H.E.R, James Taylor, Ricky Martin, John Mellancamp and many more.
Before coming to Australia, Zucchero is heading to London to take part in the Music For Marsden” charity show at the O2 Arena. Established by the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Zucchero will be the only Italian artist among superstars artists including Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Mick Hucknall (Simply Red), John Illsley (Dire Straits), Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Bonnie Tyler, Paul Young and many more.
His music has broken national borders thanks to numerous collaborations with international artists such as Bryan Adams, The Blues Brothers, Bono, Jeff Beck, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, Miles Davis, Peter Gabriel, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Mark Knopfler, Luciano Pavarotti, Iggy Pop, Queen, Sting and many others.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
