ALWAYS LIVE, I OH YOU, MG Live & Frontier Touring are excited to announce that enigmatic singer-songwriter and producer, Jai Paul will make his Australian debut this December.
Heading down under as part of the Victorian Government’s ALWAYS LIVE, a 17-day celebration of contemporary live music across Victoria, Jai Paul will perform two nights at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December, in what will be the only stop on his Australian visit.
Fresh off the back of performing at this year’s Coachella – his first ever live set – Jai Paul is returning to stages across the world following a 10-year hiatus, including his first headline shows in New York and London in April and May. Falling back in love with creating and producing music, Jai is making music the fans have been craving since 2013.
“The decade’s most tantalizing pop enigma” – Pitchfork
“Cai Paul live in London: enigmatic star gets his flowers in flawless comeback” – ★★★★ NME
Releasing demo BTSTU to MySpace in 2007 and subsequently released via XL Recordings in 2011, Jai Paul quickly established himself in both the underground and mainstream pop scenes, gaining commercial airplay across the UK and sampled on Drake’s ‘Dreams Money Can Buy’ and Beyonce’s ‘End Of Time’. Leaving a lasting legacy and changing the game for the UK music scene, Jai Paul was catapulted onto the international stage.

Following a leak of his upcoming project in 2013, the producer took a break from releasing music commercially, with fans desperately awaiting new music. In 2019, six years after the infamous leak, Jai made the project official, releasing ‘Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones)’ on all streaming services. With the album including two new songs, eager fans and critics were quick to praise Paul for delivering the album to his fans after what many deemed as an end to a tough period as a musician, Pitchfork defining it “as a sense of closure, of finally wrangling some dominion over chaos.”
Recently commemorating 10 years post-leak in 2023, Jai Paul released ‘Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones)’ on vinyl for the first time. With only 3000 copies available, fans rushed to get their hands on a piece of music history, proving once more that the world has always been ready for Jai Paul.
With fans around the world excited for what Jai Paul has in store next, don’t miss out on a show to remember as the singer-songwriter & producer heads to Melbourne for the first time in what will be an incredibly special series of shows in Melbourne this December.

AMNPLIFY – ML
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
