Australian country music sensation, 2x Golden Guitar winner and ARIA Award nominee James Johnston has today released his sophomore album WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME, via Warner Music Australia. Listen HERE.
WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME marks a new chapter. Honest, joyful, and rooted in family life, the album captures his ability to make the everyday feel extraordinary, with songs that celebrate mateship, families, love, loss, and the country way of living – resonating with audiences everywhere.
With his sophomore album WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME, Johnston steps fully into his international era, blending modern country hooks with a raw emotional core to create songs that lift people up and connect everyday moments to something bigger. Reuniting with long-time producer and friend Jared Adlam (Adam Brand, Lee Kernaghan) and collaborating with mentor and country superstar Morgan Evans, Johnston delivers a record that reflects both personal growth and global ambition. James is set to take the new album on the road with his upcoming 2025 Australian tour. Kicking off this month, the tour will take him through a string of city and regional centres, with stops including Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Perth, Hobart, Darwin and Canberra. Earlier this year, James won multiple fan-voted Countrytown Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. To close the awards ceremony, he performed a medley of his hits, including ‘HELL BOY’. In addition to his remarkable success in Australia, James has taken country music global – returning to South Africa, where he won Song of the Year for his collaboration with local artist Appel on their single ‘COUNTRY IS FOR ME’. In late 2024, James toured alongside American country star Kip Moore, performing some of his biggest shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. James’ history-making 20-track debut album, RAISED LIKE THAT, was nominated for Best Country Album at the 2024 ARIA Awards.
