This one’s on Jameson: after a huge 2019 debut, Jameson today kicks off the second instalment of Australia’s Biggest Round, shouting 15,000 Jameson, Dry & Limes to punters reconnecting out of lockdown in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. As social restrictions begin to ease in these states, Jameson will continue to support their mates in Victoria by extending the duration of 2020’s bigger and better return, resuming the shout for the Victorian venues once it is safe to do so.

Last year, 10,000 Jameson, Dry & Limes were snapped up across select Sydney venues as part of Australia’s Biggest Round. In 2020, the list of locals expands across multiple states, as well as offering a huge 15,000 drinks, to ensure more Jamo lovers can treat themselves to a free drink on the house. The stellar offering includes the likes of Frankies, Mary’s, Shady Pines and Lord Gladstone in NSW, while South Australians can hop to Adelaide haunt Downtown, and Queenslanders can enjoy a free drink from Brooklyn Standard, Full Moon Hotel or Suzie Wongs. Jameson has a longstanding commitment of support to the Victorian hospitality industry and will endeavour to see locals reconnect at adored institutions like Leonard’s House of Love or The Carlton Club in the future soon.

About Jameson Whiskey

In 1780, John Jameson established a way of making Irish whiskey that we’ve been proudly sticking to ever since. As you can imagine, producing a whiskey that has been enjoyed for over two centuries, takes a lot. But don’t worry, we’ve distilled over 200 years of courage, craft and a collective appreciation for taste, into each and every bottle. The secret behind our signature smoothness is our process and our people. Triple distilled, twice as smooth, one of a kind. First, we take the best of pot still and fine grain whiskeys. Then we triple distil them – not because we have to because we want to as it gives it its signature smoothness. Finally, we age them in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. Why do we do all that? Taste, that’s why. Best served over ice with dry ginger ale and a squeeze of lime.
