Nominated for MTV EMA ‘Best New Zealand Act’
Performing at Laneway Festival AU

Fresh off a hugely successful debut headline tour of New Zealand, JessB lands today with a moonlit-escapade-inspired video for ‘Time Out ft., Abdul Kay‘, the third track from her highly acclaimed New Views EP – OUT NOW.    

Doing laps around Auckland in the whip, Jess and Abdul stop by various local haunts to party up and vibe out. Directed by fellow NZ native ConnorFilms, the video for ‘Time Out’ is energetic and nostalgic, matching JessB and Abdul’s timeless flow.

Yesterday announced as a nominee for ‘Best New Zealand Act’ at the MTV EMA awards,  JessB is not slowing down. This high energy visual accompaniment comes just as the New Zealand native is preparing to bring her slick live show to Australian audiences at this month’s Red Bull Music Festival, next month’s Spotify’s A1 Hip-Hop Live and Laneway Festival 2020.

Since the release of her New Views EP, JessB’s flow and finesse has been spreading across the Southern Hemisphere and beyond. Recently hitting the cover of Spotify ANZ ‘New Music Friday’, ‘The Drip’ and ‘A1 Hip-Hop’ playlists, the release has already surpassed two million streams in just over a month. In July, she performed in the Mix Up Tent at Splendour in the Grass, was the first international artist to take part triple j ‘Bars Of Steel’ and recently performed alongside Stormzy, Little Simz and Kaiit.

In ‘Time Out’, JessB raps “I be goin’ hard til its time out”. With the release of her third music video in as many months as well as a swell of upcoming live dates, the dynamic artist is demonstrating her industrious work ethic and intention to go as hard as she can.
