After three reflective years grinding away in the studio, Puerto Rican songwriter and reggaetonero JHAYCO announces his next album project, “Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X)” which will debut on September 6th via Universal Music Latin. “With this album, we mark a new stage not only in my career but also in our lives because you are not just my fans. You are my family,” he wrote on @JHAYCO.
The project was self-written/produced and recorded all around the globe with new friends and longtime collaborators, in Paris, Madrid, Puerto Rico, Miami, Los Angeles and more. In his most personal project yet, JHAYCO discovers his lane, his color and his personality across music and fashion; the multi-talented, billion-streamed artist says he finally found a “comfort in being himself” and “believing in himself to write about his vision and his experiences” – pre-save @ www.vidarockstar.com!

And JHAYCO continues innovating the sounds of reggaeton, debuting a sizzling summer dancehall track today, “Passoa” featuring rising star Kapo which blends romantic lyrics with infectious beats. “Passoa” captures the essence of rekindling a past romance for a passionate encounter. Inspired by the vibrant hue of Passoa liqueur, JHAYCO poetically compares the sunset to its color with the line, “El Cielo color Passoa”, while Kapo brings raw emotion, reminiscing about a passionate past relationship – listen to the track here.
This year, JHAYCO’s smash “HOLANDA” has earned 100 Million views and entered the Top 100 of Spotify Global with over 310 million streams. His first release of the year “KTM” has amassed over 10 Million Spotify streams. Most recently, the club anthem hitmaker turned up the heat with “3D” a track with pulsating beats and undeniable rhythm, and with the dembow track “Torii,” which captures the essence of late-night revelry highlighting JHAYCO’s signature flow and evocative wordplay. These recent offerings encapsulate the evolution of JHAYCO and the essence of the Vida Rockstar lifestyle, celebrating the carefree, dance-until-dawn spirit of the club culture.
The soon to be revealed tracklist will showcase his shapeshifter status and chart-topping ability to break the mold as a leader in the urban music scene. Setting the mood for summer, the Latin GRAMMY hitmaker cements his reputation as a trailblazer, introducing fresh, innovative sounds and styles, within the reggaeton genre.

JHAYCO, formerly known as Jhay Cortez, has firmly established himself as one of the leaders of El Movimiento’s new generation, working with nearly every big name in the mainstream and underground of the genre, selling out stadium shows around the globe including the iconic Coliseo de Puerto Rico, and racking up over 17 Billion streams worldwide. A rare cross-genre chameleon, JHAYCO burst onto the scene in 2018 with EP, “Eyez On Me.” He now has two albums and a slew of RIAA multi-platinum hits under his belt. His sophomore album “Timelezz” went #1 on the iTunes Latin Chart and was certified RIAA 2X Platinum. Aside from solo work, JHAYCO first made waves as a beloved collaborator, the man you call “if you want 8 billion views” (Rolling Stone), nabbing two GRAMMY awards as a producer for Tito El Bambino and J. Balvin. As a featured artist, his link ups with Bad Bunny – 2020 #1 Billboard Global 200 smash “DAKITI,” which recently surpassed 2B streams on Spotify, and the RIAA 20x platinum remix of “No Me Conoce” from 2019 debut Famouz, which also featured J. Balvin – are firmly cemented in the new reggaeton canon. Outside the mainstream, features with indie duo Buscabulla (tender album finisher “Eternamente”) and Kali Uchis (a sensual verse on “La Luz”) made him an alt-Latinx darling. JHAYCO made his television debut last year in Netflix dramedy series NEON, executive-produced by Daddy Yankee. With a new album project slated for release this year and more collaborations in the works, there’s no stopping one of El Movimiento”s most prominent figures.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
