With great regret and disappointment, we wish to advise that John Prine has been forced to cancel his upcoming Bluesfest performance this Easter – following the advice of his doctors regarding an existing hip injury. As always, John is appreciative of his loyal fans and friends all over the world and looks forward to returning to Australia at a future date. We sincerely apologise to fans affected by this cancellation and wish John a speedy recovery.
Bluesfest 2020 is being held from 9 – 13 April 2020 north of the coastal town of Byron Bay, NSW. Tickets are on sale now via Moshtix.

From the humble beginnings in 1990 as a one-day event, the festival now takes place over five days, with over 200 performances in front of a crowd of up to 125,000 patrons in Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm – just 10 minutes north of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia. My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
