Sydney based songwriter and guitar-led producer Jordie Ireland has released his brand-new single ‘Bad Days’ alongside an official music video.

Jordie Ireland also announces the release of his upcoming debut EP STAGES OF A HEARTBREAK out November 17.

Jordie’s production on the track really complements the ‘feel good’ nature of the lyrics, allowing that euphoric feeling of everything being ok, no matter what life throws at you.

Of the single Jordie says, “’Bad Days’ is about how someone special in your life can turn the worst experiences and emotions around, making it all ok in the end – the lyrics ‘feeling bad feels better with you’ sums it up!”

‘Bad Days’ features LA-based artist David Hugo, “Jordie and I connected earlier this year via social media and I was sent the start of what would be ‘Bad Days’. I loved the song and immediately got to building it out and adding whatever personal touches I could. Ironically enough I was having a slew of ~bad days~ at the time so it all just made sense and felt authentic…”.

About JORDIE IRELAND:

Jordie is a Sydney-based guitar-led producer creating meaningful and multi-dimensional electronic pop music.

For Jordie, this journey through musicianship started young. He grew up in a household where music was always playing, where you could sit anywhere in the house and hear The Bee Gees playing from one room and Kendrick Lamar playing in the other; a cross-contamination of genres and sounds that underpins Jordie’s own work years later. He was ‘almost forced into learning music’ by his parents, and while he laughs at how lame he felt as a 12-year-old classically trained in five instruments, it sparked a connection with music that’s only grown in the time since. ‘I always had a really good relationship with music, despite thinking that learning music wasn’t the coolest thing in the world’.

When Jordie is not writing music you’ll find him surfing, on the beach or streaming video games!
