Today, Grammy-nominated, Platinum-selling UK sensation Jorja Smith announces her forthcoming Australian tour, set to captivate audiences across some of Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney’s most respected venues this October.
Painted by her signature blend of R&B, Afrobeat and pop, Jorja Smith’s critically acclaimed second album falling or flying (2023) explores the push and pull of a life lived boldly but vulnerably. Bringing the record to Australian stages for the first time, Jorja touches down in Melbourne on Tuesday 8 October for an all ages performance at Margaret Court Arena, before heading to Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Tuesday 10 October. The following week on Tuesday 15 October, Jorja takes over Sydney’s ICC Sydney Theatre in the heart of Darling Harbour for an unmissable performance as part of SXSW Sydney® 2024. SXSW Sydney badgeholders can gain access to Jorja Smith’s Sydney performance by registering here.
Since its release, Jorja has toured falling or flying across the US, UK and Europe, and is next set to dazzle crowds at Reading & Leeds Festival, Pukkelpop Festival and Superbloom Festival before making her way down under for her first local shows since 2019. The album was universally praised, garnering love from Rolling Stone (UK, US), NY Times, DIY Mag, Elle (FR), Vogue (AU, FR), triple j, Harper’s Bazaar (AU) and NYLON to name a few, plus saw Jorja take over highly coveted performance spots on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Later… with Jools Holland and the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Of the many British voices in music today, Jorja Smith is among the most commanding, writing at a pitch of intensity and urgency that few can match. Creating music since age 11, she first stepped into the limelight with features on Drake’s More Life (2017) and Kendrick Lamar’s Black Panther soundtrack (2018). Her debut album Lost & Found was released in 2018 to critical acclaim, awarding her two Brit Awards for Critic’s Choice (2018) and Best British Female Solo Artist (2019), a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist (2019), a Mercury Prize nomination for Album of the Year and peaking at #3 on the UK Album Charts. Her hits like “Be Honest” featuring Burna Boy and the Platinum-selling viral sensation “Little Things” underscore her undeniable impact in the global music scene.
Dive into the enchanting world of Jorja Smith and secure your ticket to one of this year’s most anticipated events.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
