Today, multi-platinum award-winning singer/songwriter and global superstar Josh Groban announced his eighth studio album Bridges, which will be released via Reprise Records on September 21. The album is available to pre-order now.

Fans who pre-order the album will receive three instant grat downloads of new songs, including the new single, Granted – which Groban wrote with Toby Gad (Beyoncé, Madonna, John Legend) and Bernie Herms (Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson, Barbra Streisand) – as well as the tracks Symphony and S’il Suffisait D’Aimer. The album will also be available in a deluxe edition, which will include two bonus tracks.

This is Groban’s first album that includes original music since 2013, and was recorded in Los Angeles, London and New York with multiple producers, including Bernie Herms and Toby Gad, Steve Jordan, Dan Huff and more. Bridges also finds Groban singing in multiple different languages that include English, French, Italian and Spanish. There will also be a couple of exciting duets, to be announced at a later date.

Groban’s last album, Stages, reached #2 on the ARIA Albums chart, and achieved Gold status in Australia after five months in the ARIA Top 100 albums chart. To date, he has sold more than 500,000 albums and amassed over 6 million streams in Australia alone.

Earlier this month, Groban co-hosted the 72nd  Annual Tony® Awards alongside Sara Bareilles at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. The broadcast this year drew 6.3 million viewers, an increase of 4% from the 6 million who watched last year. The pair were praised for their hosting abilities:

“It’s safe to say that the evening’s host and Broadway-loving BFFs Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban made Broadway magic as emcees” – Broadway.com

.

Groban recently wrapped filming for the new Netflix original series, The Good Cop, starring opposite Tony Danza. The first teaser trailer for the series is out now, and the show will be available for streaming on September 21.
