Sydney based Dark Pop songweaver JOSHUA has just released his new single and lyric video ‘Ghost’, which premiered via AAA Backstage.
JOSHUA combines honest songwriting with an infectious dark pop sound. Unafraid to explore complex emotions, the self-taught producer effortlessly weaves earworms that burrow their way into your subconscious.
“Ghost is about generational trauma. I love my family so much but it’s hard to see those you love suffering, unable to face their own demons or even go to therapy. Like, you want to help but at the same time, you need to protect your own peace and the work you’ve put in to get there.”
JOSHUA unleashed his debut EP ‘Albany’ in 2021. The EP was recorded with MSQUARED (Casey Barnes, CXLOE, Will Hyde), Cam Nacson (SADBOii, CXLOE, Kota Banks) and Rahel Phillips (Billy Davis, Ruel).
He has since released multiple singles which have received airplay on radio stations across the globe whilst enjoying positive coverage from the likes of Happy Mag, The Music, AusPop, AAA Backstage, Buzz Magazine, Plastic Magazine, Pop Passion, Illustrate Magazine, Triple J Unearthed, and Australian Music Scene.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
