Sydney – Friday 25 July 2025. Eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves will make her long-awaited return to Australia, performing two shows in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on 19 and 20 November – her first Australian visit in six years.
Renowned for her distinctive songwriting and fusion of musical genres, the Texan-born singer-songwriter will showcase songs from her acclaimed new album Deeper Well (2024) – a collection of stripped-back, soul-searching songs – alongside fan favourites from across her career.
Born in Golden, Texas, Musgraves emerged from the vibrant Nashville music scene before breaking through with her 2013 debut Same Trailer Different Park, which won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album. She went on to release a string of best-selling, critically acclaimed albums, including Pageant Material (2015), the Grammy Album of the Year-winning Golden Hour (2018) and the cinematic Star-Crossed (2021). Kacey is the only artist ever to win a Grammy Award in every major Country Music category.

We’re thrilled to host her long-overdue Sydney Opera House debut, where fans can bathe in the radiant artistry that has made her a global icon – now entering a powerful new chapter with her exquisite, folk-infused album Deeper Well – live in the Concert Hall.”
Across more than a decade releasing music, Musgraves has built a global following drawn to her lyrical honesty, crystalline vocals and genre-defying sound. She has collaborated with legends like Willie Nelson as well as contemporary stars like Troye Sivan and Zach Bryan – with whom she scored her first Billboard number one and surpassed a billion streams for their duet I Remember Everything.
