Global recording artist, Karol G releases “S91” a song that not only shows transformation but signifies the artist’s evolution, showcasing her artistic prowess and ability to keep connecting with her fans. The song demonstrates her ability to look at moments of uncertainty as times where new opportunities arise. Accompanied by a visually enticing music video set in the majestic desert of California and beautiful scenery of Paris, “S91” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
“S91” is an empowering anthem with an upbeat tempo and unapologetic lyrics that serves as a testament to Karol’s growth and resilience, while always remaining true to who she is and reconnecting with her roots. Reminding the world to be thankful for hardship and see it as a blessing, Karol sings part of Psalms 91, which ends with “Pues mil caerán a tu derecha, y diez mil a tu izquierda, pero a ti nada te pasará” (For a thousand shall fall at thy right hand, and ten thousand at thy left, but nothing shall befall thee).

Complementing the uplifting nature of the song, the music video for “S91” is directed by Pedro Artola and produced by WeOwnTheCity. Starting off amidst the vast desert, the video abounds in symbolic imagery showing that you can make it out of any situation on top. It kicks off with the star sitting in the desert with speakers in the form of a cross, a representation of her ability to accomplish anything with her music and faith. Soon after, Karol is chased by a group of people who are backed by a pack of animated wolves, which represent those who’ve tried to take her down, while she is protected by a lone panther, symbolizing her loyal legion of fans as well as all the people who have remained by her side. Closing out, Karol’s newfound happiness and captivating charisma is demonstrated as she runs free in the streets of Paris.
“S91” arrives a few weeks before Karol embarks on her first-ever stadium trek across the United States. The tour will kick off on August 11 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium the tour will visit Pasadena, Miami, Houston and Dallas, among other cities. Karol G broke an all-time attendance record where over 15,000 fans gathered outside NBC Studios in New York City during her live performance as part of The Today Show summer Citi Concert Series. As part of her participation in the Barbie movie soundtrack with her song “Watati,” the Latin GRAMMY winner made a striking appearance at the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles, wearing a custom Pucci look.
