Kasey Chambers and Vika & Linda are beloved, critically acclaimed, award-winning artists, not to mention three of the finest live performers in Australia. Their voices, so distinct yet perfectly complementary, weave together stories of love, loss, and life, capturing the hearts of their audiences.
Featuring a set by each artist and the promise of some very special collaborations, this concert is a must-see experience offering a rare opportunity to see these iconic artists deliver unforgettable performances in one of the world’s most prestigious venues.
Says Kasey “every time I’ve ever been lucky enough to share the stage with Vika & Linda Bull, it has always turned into something incredibly special and filled my musical heart in so many ways. To now have the chance to create magic with them again, but this time in one of the most iconic and inspiring venues in the world is beyond my wildest dreams. I am counting down for this once-in-a-lifetime concert.”
Echoing Kasey’s sentiments, Vika & Linda added “there’s excitement in the air in the Bull household because we are going to do a show with the one and only Kasey Chambers! It’s gonna be a great night that’s for sure and maybe we’ll get to sing a song or two with our favourite Australian songbird.”
Music seems to be a part of country music royalty’s Kasey Chambers’ DNA, with 12 award winning albums under her belt since the release of The Captain in 1999, Kasey’s brilliant songwriting and world-class performance have earned her a rightful position on the global country artist stage.
Often described as a genre defying singer songwriter, Kasey Chambers wears the honesty of country music on her sleeve and has become one of the most popular and acclaimed artists of her generation in Australia and In 2018 Kasey’s exceptional career was honoured by being the youngest female ever to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Kasey continues to inspire with her trademark authenticity as she gets set to release her most ambitious projects to date returning in October with both her thirteenth album, Backbone, and her new book Just Don’t Be A Dickhead….and other profound things I’ve learnt.
Vika & Linda are the most loved vocal duo of their generation – admired and respected by fans and fellow artists, they’ve been singing together their entire lives. It all began in a church and from church to the charts Vika & Linda have enjoyed a remarkable musical journey.
After three classic albums with the Black Sorrows, Vika & Linda have released eight studio albums, two live albums and a chart-topping anthology. They have sung on number one albums by Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers and John Farnham, done gigs for the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and the King of Tonga, and released their first memoir “No Bull” in 2022, documenting their journey from suburban Melbourne to the top of the charts. They have been nominated for four ARIA Awards and have been each awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia.
