Aotearoa/New Zealand reggae pioneers Katchafire have dropped a brand-new remix of their infectious dancefloor anthem “Done Did It (Revival 2.0)” on 26 September, ahead of the highly anticipated remixed and remastered “Revival 2.0” album, which lands 9 January 2026.
Currently igniting stages across the USA, Katchafire will touch down in Australia this November before joining reggae icons UB40 for special shows back home in New Zealand in 2026.

Katchafire’s signature blend of rich reggae rhythms and authentic Māori influences continues to strike a chord with audiences worldwide, offering music that is both soulful and accessible. As champions of Māori music and Pacific reggae, the band has spent decades crafting songs that celebrate whānau, unity, and cultural pride—an enduring commitment that’s woven into every heartfelt melody and live performance.
“Originally recorded around 2000, the ‘Revival’ album was the band’s first time together in a studio, our first time tracking and mixing and they weren’t as hands-on as they are now with the process. We felt that certain aspect of the finished album left us wanting, so remixing the album is something we’ve always talked about. Twenty-three years on we got the chance, and it was really fun to hear the original studio performances. They still stand up today and it made me feel real proud of those early recordings and the OG team”, Katchafire singer and founding member Logan Bell said.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
