KIAN & Becca Hatch have today released their first collaborative single ‘All Of Me’, which is available now on all major streaming platforms. With featherweight breakbeats and killer harmonies, the song features KIAN’s smooth and soulful vocals dancing with Becca’s honeyed harmonies – the duo’s undeniable magnetic chemistry is on full display in this infectious track.

Recorded in Melbourne and produced by Lucy Blomkamp (6LACK and Miiesha), ‘All Of Me’ brings together the creatives fires and varied influences of KIAN and Becca to showcase their unique blend of pop, dance and R&B in this song about the sense of belonging that comes from true human connection.

The duo explains: “‘All Of Me’ is a song about how raw a connection can be. All facets of relationships have their imperfections, but It’s about how you come together to accept and understand them. ‘All Of Me’ comes from both an internal perspective and a conversational one. It’s a reflection of two individuals holding themselves accountable and being empathetic towards one another as they navigate the ups and downs in day-to-day life. True understanding is taking someone for everything that they are, their strengths and their flaws; because after all that’s what makes us unique.”

KIAN and Becca enlisted the help of longtime friend and frequent creative collaborator Matt Wilson (Onefour, Cap Carter) to direct the video for ‘All of Me’ – “Matt, Becca and I spoke about several outlandish concepts before deciding on the final direction for the video. The story we tried to convey is about two people leaving mostly everything behind; giving and accepting who each other are and that life is never going to be perfect. The visuals are supposed to reflect moments of feeling free amongst the clutter of the world through locations and carefree actions” explains KIAN.

About KIAN

A little over five years ago, 20-year-old KIAN burst onto the scene as he sung the hook for Baker Boy’s “Cloud 9”. Fast-forward to 2023, and KIAN has been impossible to hold down. Releasing the 4x Platinum certified, ARIA Top 20 hit “Waiting” as the lead single from his debut EP ‘Bliss’, he’s since nabbed multiple APRA Awards, become a two-time ARIA nominee, toured internationally, collaborated on Duckwrth’s “Quick”, and released 2020 singles “Every Hour” and “Sunbeam”.

His latest EP ‘Shine’ which was released in 2022 was produced by Willie Tafa (ONEFOUR, Ariana Grande, Baker Boy), and enlisted the talents of artists such as Jerome Farah and members of hip-hop outfit 1300, KIAN carving out a body of work that showcases a musician hitting his creative stride, while embracing his own personal and professional maturity.

About BECCA HATCH

In just a short span of time, Becca Hatch has curated a space in the Australian contemporary R&B scene that is wholly her own. The Kamilaroi/Samoan artist rose to wider attention after winning Triple J Unearthed High’s Indigenous Initiative in 2017, though in the years that followed, Becca has established herself as a dynamic artist whose voice and style adds a beautiful flair to the current wave of Australian artists bringing R&B-centric music back to the fore.

First courting attention with the release of debut single ‘2560’ in 2020, Hatch demonstrated her proficiency as a vocalist: though starting at a young age, Becca’s voice was one drenched in rich soul quality that spoke to influences that significantly formed the genre before her.  Recent releases like the popular ‘Please U (ft. Planet Vegeta)’ and ‘Safety’ are indicative of Becca’s strengthened vision, as she remains true to her R&B and soul roots, while stepping into a more dance/electronic realm with ease. These new moves mirror the way Becca sees herself as an artist: more confident and self-assured than ever before.
