The final instalment, ”Again”, offers a sense of completion and catharsis through warm electronic soundscapes and deeply honest lyrical reflections. Recorded with the brilliant production team of Chris Bond (Ben Howard, Hall and Oats, Hollow Coves) and his brother Andrew ‘Bear’ Bond, “Again” shows the mysterious and dream-like beginnings of a new cycle of life. It sounds like the early hours of the morning, where one might be waiting for the sun to rise and wondering what the new day will be.
Each EP from the “ I Am Forgetting The End Again” collection was recorded in a different part of the world and it finds its conclusion nestled into the green hills of Devon overlooking the jagged rocks of the English coastline. England has been a second home for Kim over the years, with his mother being born in West Sussex and then, as an adult, touring the country extensively with his friend Billy Bragg. Since then Kim returns each year to play festivals and tour the country. The songs on this EP were inspired by his travels in England over the years as well as the month-long stay in the small town of Bantham Beach to record “Again”.
In the closing of Kim’s 4 EP collection, “I Am Forgetting The End Again”, Churchill sets out to show the completion of a cycle – As he moves through an ending and on to a beginning. “Waiting for the Sun” is the gentle pinks and golds that spill into the sky before dawn.
“The small stirrings of the wind as a beautiful bold summer’s day approaches. We are still contemplating the darkness that surrounds us, but with the notion, we will soon be rising and moving into something completely bright and unknown,” said Kim. “ It is the end of an exhale – where we consider the breath we’ve taken and sit in humility for a moment – before, again, breathing in.”

The release of “Again” follows Churchill’s “The Brightside Mixtape” earlier this year that took Kim’s favourite acoustic videos of 2020 and had them mixed by Ian Pritchett (BooSeeka, Angus and Julia Stone, Bootleg Rascal), making the most of his COVID isolation creations.
At 30 years of age, Kim Churchill has achieved incredible things as a professional musician. In late 2017 – Kim released his album “Weight_Falls”, which debuted at #6 on the ARIA charts, and featured hits “Second Hand Car” and “Breakneck Speed”. 2020 has seen Kim release a collection of four EP’s titled “I Am Forgetting The End Again”, which each EP having been recorded in a different part of the world, with a different producer. Leading to the release of “Again” Kim has been building to the collections finale with “I Am” (recorded in Berlin), “Forgetting” (recorded in Canada) and “The End” (Recorded in the Blue Mountains, Australia). Following his acclaim as a dynamic performer, Kim has spent the years prior to the age of lockdown touring internationally across Canada, Europe, South Africa, and the United States.
Recognised as much internationally as he is in Australia, Churchill has performed headline shows, festivals and supports alike all over the planet, with notable performances include Glastonbury, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Montreal Jazz, Telluride Blues, and supports slots with Milky Chance, Billy Bragg, Michael Franti, and The Medicine People.
Known for his enchanting acoustic performances and soul soothing melodies, Kim unites lyrical artistry with fierce vocals; he is a sonic architect – using his guitar to create landscapes, which animate his lyrics. Into the midst of 2021, Kim Churchill is ready to take on the title as a traveller once more, bringing his intrepid folk spirit to the stage.
“Again” is available on all platforms now.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
