single and video
‘THROUGH THE TREES’The mighty King Stingray return with their glorious new single ‘Through the Trees’. With a soaring chorus and poignant lyrics, the song explores overcoming adversity. LISTEN HERE.
“On the surface it’s a fun traveling song representing adventure, but beneath the surface it talks more deeply on the concept of time and how precious it is,” the band says. “It’s about overcoming adversity, coming out the other side, and reaching that breath of fresh air.”
The song arrives with a stunning video shot around their home in the remote Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory and directed by Sam Brumby. Watch a sneak peek HERE (please note, this is not the final version – the official video will be available here from 12pm AEDT, Wednesday 20th March).
King Stingray debuted the new song at their acclaimed set at the Golden Plains festival last weekend, to a rapturous response from the crowd.
The group have been teasing their new music on social media, recently announcing that they are putting the finishing touches on their sophomore album, following 2022’s acclaimed self-titled debut LP.
King Stingray also recently announced that they will be taking their iconic sound global later this year for their biggest US jaunt to date, touring with fellow kings King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard throughout the West Coast and the Southern states.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
