Following on from his critically praised single ‘Coming Home’, Australian-born Berlin-based artist Klue has today returned with the accompanying video clip – directed by Michael O’Rourke of Maper Pache (The Living End).
Filmed in Berlin and a tour across Europe, the clip showcases Klue in his element, performing to large fun-loving audiences, spliced with footage filmed at the iconic Tempelhofer Airport in Berlin. Prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall, the airfield was the main way to get anything in or out of West Berlin, but is no longer used as an airport.
Klue describes the process behind ‘Coming Home’: “On the day we were shooting it was freezing, about 6 degrees, so a lot of the parts in the video where I was dancing, it was more to stay warm than anything else! It’s an amazing, vast open space, but we also liked the idea of shooting on a runway with the journey theme of the song. Some of the driving shots on tour required some pretty acrobatic camera work too as I remember it”.
To coincide with the release, Klue will perform four shows across the East Coast, including stops off at Sydney, Wollongong, Byron Bay, Terrigal and Tasmania for a performance at the last ever Party in the Paddock. The track has received support from the likes of Clash Magazine (UK), Pilerats, Acid Stag, triple j Unearthed, Double J, FBi, PBS, 2ser and Radio Adelaide.
In the live arena, Klue has toured a full band show for the first time, played Glastonbury Festivaland toured Europe and Africa with his band True Vibenation, and played major sets at Field Day, Rainbow Serpent and Subsonic Music Festival. The last year has also seen his debut UK tour, supporting Dub FX for a sold-out run including Electric Ballroom in London, Manchester Academy, and The Haunt in Brighton, and an Australian tour with Thievery Corporation.
Klue also hosts a weekly radio show on FBi 94.5 ‘Bare Necessities’; an outlet for world music, rare groove and electronica.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
