Sydney hip-hop juggernaught Kwame today announces supports for his upcoming ‘CLOUDS.’ single tour, kicking off at a sold out Oxford Art Factory on Saturday 9 February. ‘Allocation exhausted’ is quickly becoming a familiar sight on Kwame ticketing pages with extra dates announced in Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle. All dates are on track for a clean sweep sold out tour before the triple j Unearthed artist of the year leaves for his first US shows at Austin’s South By Southwest (SXSW) in March.
Kwame will be joined by Arno Faraji for all locations except Newcastle, where ‘WHO DAT’ collaborator Phil Fresh will be taking stage among local supports.
Perth-based, 18-year-old Arno Faraji had a huge 2018, releasing singles ‘things change’ and collaboration with REMI and Sensible J, ‘Bless (What It’s Like)’. Recently joining the Astral People family amongst artists like Winston Surfshirt, Basenji and Wave Racer, Arno Faraji cut his teeth on the touring circuit throughout 2018 supporting the likes of Rejjie Snow, Smino and Tkay Maidza. Kwame and Arno Faraji also took stage with Tkay Maidza in an unforgettable performance at triple j’s One Night Stand in Tasmania last year to over 20,000 people.
Phil Fresh also has history with the Newcastle opening act, Kymie. The two collaborated for Kymie’s single ‘WITH YOU’ in 2018 before her latest release ‘NEEDS’ planted her style deeper into Aussie hip-hop. Fans will also be treated to sets from taste-making DJs and up-and-coming R&B and hip-hop artists opening the shows – Latifa Tee (Sydney), Cheq (Brisbane), Jessica Jacoby (Adelaide), Maya Hirasedo (Melbourne), YNGRACH (Perth) and Kymie (Newcastle).
Kwame continues to ride on the coattails of what has been a formidable breakout year, beginning with the release of his EP Endless Conversatons. Singles ‘WOW’ and ‘NO TIME’ have amassed over 5 million streams and adds to triple j rotation. ‘CLOUDS.’ arrived in November with a premiere on Apple Music’s Beats 1 with Zane Lowe, elevating the artist to the world stage and since collecting over half a million streams on Spotify to date.
‘CLOUDS.’ is out now on all streaming platforms and limited remaining tickets to Kwame’s ‘CLOUDS.’ tour on sale now.

AMNPLIFY- DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
