On the 10th anniversary of the release of her breakout solo album Just Say, Australian soulster Kylie Auldist is getting the original gang back together for a special, one-off Melbourne show.
Kylie will present ‘The Super Heavy Soul Revue’ with Deep Street Soul and DJs Pierre Baroni and Kano at the Toff in Town on Saturday 8 December. Just Say was never issued on vinyl, so to further celebrate the milestone, Kylie will be releasing 300 limited edition LPs which will be available to purchase at the show and online.
Just Say was Kylie’s first songwriting collaboration with Lance Ferguson and her first album with UK label Tru Thoughts. Kylie launched the album in 2008 to a sell-out crowd at the Corner Hotel in Richmond with The Bamboos as her backing band.
Kylie’s discography includes critically acclaimed albums Made of Stone (2009) and Still Life (2012). Her fourth record Family Tree took out the 2016 award for Best Album in the funk/soul category at The Age Music Victoria Awards. Already praised by the world’s soul and R&B community as an extraordinary talent, Kylie shot to stratospheric prominence when her sublime vocals on the ‘This Girl‘ remix by Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners went to number one on the charts in France, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Latvia and Scotland and number two on the UK singles chart. Smash-hit ‘Ride Of Your Life’ co-written with UK house DJ/producer Marc Vedo (Boy George) followed soon after, and in late 2017 Kylie dropped another smooth single ‘Body‘. Her latest release ‘No Use‘ – which has been remixed by French duo HUKO and released on Parlophone via Warner France – is doing the rounds on European radio, with playlisting, airplay and Shazam rankings increasing weekly.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
