‘With Lakyn killing it in his own right and Alice Ivy only going from strength to strength, this remix is a perfect example of two breakthrough artists coming together to create something really special.’ Purple Sneakers

Lakyn’s new single ‘West’ has been given the remix treatment by up and coming Melbourne-based beatmaker Alice Ivy.
Currently on tour with Listen Out earning acclaim across the country for her blissed-out single ‘Get Me A Drink’ and on the radar as one of the country’s finest new producers, Alice Ivy was very excited to work on this project. “Lakyn’s vocal tone is phenomenal, I wanted to challenge myself by recreating ‘West’ into a dance track. I spent more time on drums and the rhythmic elements of the remix, keeping the beat unpredictable and exciting. I really enjoyed working on this and I hope people dig it too.”

‘West’ is about Lakyn’s own ambition and self-worth – it’s about not getting too comfortable in any one place, and always pushing yourself to work harder, to do better.
Across Lakyn’s two singles, View Looks So Good’ and ‘West’, he has racked up almost 2 million streams. Lakyn has just finished supporting Vera Blue on 17 shows around Australia after supporting Vancouver Sleep Clinic earlier in the year. He heads out this October on his first headline tour performing in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
