MG Live and Frontier Touring proudly announce Leftfield – one of electronic music’s all-time greatest acts – with very special headline shows for 2026 as they continue their celebration of their 35th anniversary (36 at the time of writing).
Speaking on the shows, Neil Barnes shared, “It will be 36 years since I released the first Leftfield track, ‘Not Forgotten’, and 31 years now of Leftism. It feels like the perfect time to celebrate and I’m so pleased that finally we get to come back to New Zealand and Australia. Let’s make it unforgettable. Can’t wait to see you there!”
The iconic British pioneers of progressive house and experimental electronic music will launch their March 2026 tour in New Zealand, they then head to Australia for a run of east coast dates.
Joining Leftfield on the Brisbane and Sydney headline shows is Australia’s Godfather of Techno, Late Nite Tuff Guy adding to what will be an electrifying celebration of hypnotic sound, rhythm and dancefloor energy.

A superhero of soul, a destroyer of dance floors and a purveyor of the smoothest sounds this side of 1977, Late Nite Tuff Guy is synonymous with the sexiest of sets and the most credible of disco edits and has amassed legions of devoted fans from every corner of the globe.
Acclaimed leading figure in Australian electronic music – composer, songwriter, musician and producer – Paul Mac (DJ set) and Late Nite Tuff Guy join the Leftfield line-up for the Live at the Gardens show on Sunday 8 March.
Special guests for Auckland and Wellington shows to be announced soon.
Leftfield’s most recent release was a collection of remixes of ‘Full Way Round (Ft Grian Chatten)’, and they have also been touring across the UK and Europe throughout 2025 to bring their 2022 album This Is What We Do to life.

About LEFTFIELD
Formed in 1988, Leftfield quickly became one of the most influential and innovative dance music acts of all time. Originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, Leftfield’s legendary live-performances paired with seminal albums, 1995s Leftism and 1999s Rhythm & Stealth (both Mercury Music Prize nominees), solidified their position as true pioneers.
Leftfield returned with the acclaimed Alternative Light Source in 2015, before releasing This Is What We Do in 2022, to rave 4* reviews from the likes of The Observer, MOJO, Evening Standard and Daily Telegraph. The album was crafted by Neil Barnes with long-time studio and mix engineer Adam Wren, and features guest contributions from Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten, Lemn Sissay and more.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
