Leikeli47 is back with ‘Zoom’, a new track from her forthcoming, soon to be announced album SHAPE UP. The song arrives with a side-scroller, NES-inspired video that has 47 and a mysterious new partner named Moriah battling bad guys on the freeway.
This release follows her critically-acclaimed album, ACRYLIC, which was deemed “…a hood-chick lit masterpiece more colorful than a rack of nail polish” by NPR, while Pitchfork described it as an album that “…celebrates black life and black love with song-length homages to her native Bed-Stuy and the person she became there.” The album was also on multiple “Best Albums of 2019” lists including NPR, Pitchfork and Paper Magazine. My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
