Off the back off her recent Fairgrounds Festival performance alongside Liam Gallagher and The Lemonheads, Sydney’s own indie-pop sweetheart Lenka is set to tour the rest of Australia’s east coast this March, before heading off on her Northern Hemisphere tour.
Revealing the first taste from her Recover and Discover twin EP back in December, Lenka’s new single ‘On My Side’ and accompanying cover of Pat Benatar’s ‘We Belong’ was welcomed by fans with open arms…
During her 15-year-long career, Lenka has always depended on songwriting as a form of therapy to help her unpack her own feelings, so when the music stopped flowing, Lenka was at a loss. Through despair, Lenka began to play around with covers and was surprised to find that the inspiration began to flow once more.
“First came the covers, then the originals, and it was the experience of reinterpreting these songs that got me inspired to write my own music again.“ Lenka explained.
Featuring six brand new tunes alongside six reimagined covers, Lenka’s Recover and Discover t win EP will be released in the same order on Feb 14th and 28th, through Skipalong Records.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
