Lexicon H, artist name and alter ego of Harry Alexiadis, multi-instrumentalist, engineer and producer, releases Walk Away as a follow-up to his debut single Get Dizzy, blending his musical styles and interests to tell the story of toxic love, lost time and the struggle for freedom.

“Walk Away, is the amalgamation of nearly 5 years worth of emotion expressed through song. It forms the first half of a duo of singles that explore the struggle with love, the fear of letting go and how our desires change through life as we grow.” Expressed Lexicon H.

An exceedingly polished musician in all aspects of the word, Harry Alexiadis aka Lexicon H made the decision to leave his band in the pursuit of a solo career, yet holds onto his old band values for live shows, preferring the camaraderie of friends and fellow musicians on stage despite his solo workflow in the recording studio. Adopting the modern day Paul McCartney do-it-yourself philosophy, Harry pursues a rather introspective recording and production process, performing and programming all instruments/voices himself before mixing and mastering the track. The result is an incredibly distinctive personal experience with no boundaries or others to answer to, which in turn fashions his unique sound.

“Walk Away was actually written a couple years ago but I only recently felt ready to properly face the track and finally put it to rest through the recording process. I hate the idea of caging myself into one style or genre. There is something inherent in my approach to music, both my listening and composing habits, that are inextricably linked to the art of storytelling. I find myself drawn to the narrative within music, preferring the experiential and ideological underpinnings of a song to the quick-fix, nonsensical, habits of manufactured pop.”

“In short, life is too unassured and complex to adhere to any one genre’s limitations.”

“For me this record, and the following single Open Mind (due early November 2021), are necessary in the moving on process from that period of my life. I felt compelled to create something out of the struggle of that phase, to try to make light of a rather dim situation and to not give in and just write off the past 5 years like they never happened.”

“This is my story, whether I like it or not.”
