“I was going through that rebellious phase when I wrote it,” she said. “Music is a great way to process emotion and ‘Wild Child’ is about embracing that wild side we all have.”

The track, recorded at Lennox Head and Rockinghorse Studios, Byron Bay, produced by Murray Burns and mixed by award winning Matt Fell, delivers a punch of gritty realism, with storytelling well beyond her years.

BIO
Lily-Grace Grant is a 17-year-old singer/songwriter from Lennox Head in Northern NSW who just released her first single ‘Wild Child’ on November 22.
Her already impressive CV includes performing ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ with Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, when just 10 years old, at Qudos Arena in 2018. She performed at the 2024 Byron Bay Bluesfest after reaching the semi-finals of the busking competition.
In 2023 she was invited aboard ‘Cruisin’ Country’ as one of country music’s ‘Emerging Stars’.
Lily-Grace is a two-time graduate of The CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth and recently made it into the top 10 finalists for the Ridin’ Hearts Festival talent search.
Lily-Grace plays regular solo gigs around the Northern Rivers.
She wrote her first song when she was 8, and performed on local radio that same year singing Jolene. Her debut release ‘Wild Child’ offers our first glimpse into this fresh, undeniable talent.
Despite her age, she is garnering attention for her live performances and songwriting skill. ‘Wild Child’ is the beginning of what is sure to be an exciting journey and promising career for this young artist.
