Local favourites Lime Cordiale are thrilled to today reveal that their anticipated debut album, PERMANENT VACATION, will be released on October 13th via Chugg Music/MGM. Pre-order PERMANENT VACATION HERE

To celebrate the long-awaited debut, brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach will cram their tour bus with musicians and embark on an epic sixteen-date national tour through OctoberNovember and December. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

Temper Temper” is the infectious lead single from PERMANENT VACATION, which premiered on Pilerats last month and had the tastemaker raving that, “The track itself is a corker, bringing the vibes that have garnered Lime Cordiale a big fan base over the past few years but also displaying a new level of maturity that bodes incredibly well for the album”.

The bright crisp tune, anchored by rich saxophones, horns and thumping drums, is accompanied by lyrics that are about the kind of relationship that thrives on drama, one that’s a bit rough around the edges, but that’s why you like it, Oli explains.

On PERMANENT VACATIONLime Cordiale flex their creative muscles across thirteen tracks, showcasing a unique blend of rock, pop, soul and beyond, and drawing influence from artists as diverse as Rodriguez to The Strokes and The Growlers.

Of their new material, Oli and Louis say they “spent a lot of time creating these songs and exploring their sound. We wanted a collection of songs that really have a personality and vibe”. With Dave Hammer (ThundamentalsNicole MillarWashington) in the producer’s chair, Lime Cordiale have crafted an album that is diverse, engaging, colourful and catchy – and they’re only just getting started.

Over the years, Lime Cordiale have cut their teeth playing at some of the world’s premiere music festivals including Bluesfest, Bigsound and the iconic South x Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. They’ve warmed stages around the country for the likes of Sticky Fingers, Ballpark Music, The Rubens and most recently Bootleg Rascal, and have sold out countless headline shows across the nation.

“We’ve had too much time away from playing live shows with the making of this album”said Oli.“We put everything into the record and now it’s in the can, so we’re fresh and ready to put on a live show that’s bigger and better than before. We’ll have a larger band, delivering a bigger show, but we’re still gonna keep this party tight and intimate like it’s in our own living room.”

Whether they’re playing at house parties or to festival crowds, Lime Cordiale always deliver an exciting and unpredictable set. From the moment the brass section fires up, Lime’s soaring vocals and charismatic on-stage energy sends the crowd into a frenzy, as they rush the stage and shower each other in beer.

PERMANENT VACATION is available for pre-order now, with album tracks “Temper Temper” and “Can I Be Your Lover” available instantly for Lime Cordiale fans. Get it HERE.
