Ahead of their massive 25-date national ‘Dirt Cheap Tour’, Sydney based duo Lime Cordiale are set to release their newest single “Following Fools” this Friday, 28th September. The track has been highly anticipated since the release of their chart-topping 2017 debut album PERMANENT VACATION.

Premiered via Music Feeds overnight, the music video for “Following Fools” was directed by filmmaker Jack Shepherd who previously created a five-part documentary on the band, when he followed the brothers on their Permanent Vacation Tour. The video is set on the Northern Beaches of Sydney where they grew up, and continue to reside.

“Following Fools” was influenced by an article written by Australian author, Tim Winton. He describes sitting in the surf waiting for waves, overhearing the conversations amongst boys and men. Boys are constantly rehearsing their versions of masculinity, learning from others and searching for validation. This song is about the responsibility we have as men to step up, show our interest and guide the younger ones down the right path.

The brothers reached #1 of the 2017 AIR Australian Independent Album Charts with their debut album PERMANENT VACATION, and also climbed their way to #15 on the ARIA Australian Album Charts. Lime Cordiale then headed to the US where they smashed out performances at SXWS, before returning back to our Aussie shores for Canberra’s Groovin’ In The Moo.

The release of their new track“Following Fools”, is getting fans amped up for their latest string of tour dates across 20 metro and regional cities, as well as a 3 sold out shows in New Zealand. The band have also already sold out two major shows in Sydney, another two in Melbourne and one in Brisbane, with tickets to the remaining dates selling fast!
