After hitting her stride in 2017 with her first visit to the US instilling a new sense of confidence in her craft, Melbourne songwriter Little Wise is back with her new brand new single ‘Want it All’ – the first taste of her upcoming sophomore record.

The track’s slow-burning tension and release is like a lovechild of The Pretenders and The Velvet Underground. The song showcases yet another side of Little Wise and is a meditation on growing up, indecision, crises of existence and desperately trying to strike  a balance between the contented security of a settled life and the exhilaration of youth. There is a hint of self-mockery in the song, as Little Wise is well aware that these are the definition of first world problems.

This project is set to be one to remember for Little Wise and her fans. Currently holding a Pozible crowd funding campaign makes it very personal for everyone involved. With the goal to raise $10K in 49 days, in order to supplement the funding from Creative Victoria for the recording and release of the new album.

Little Wise has been closely working with filmmaker Agostino Soldati to create behind the scenes video content to document the project which will allow her fans to see the work put into the upcoming album, making it extremely personal and honest. It will show the tracking and mixing of the album with Fraser Montgomery, Nick Edin, and John Ruberto respectfully engineering, producing and mastering the tracks.

Little Wise will be launching her brand new single ‘Want it All’ at Melbourne’s own Starward Whiskey Distillery on August 30th, with none other than troubadour Ben Mastwyk. It will be a part of this year’s Live n Local Festival and you won’t want to miss this showcase.
