Logic1000 – the alias of Berlin-based producer Samantha Poulter – today releases her long awaited debut album Mother via Therapy / Because Music / Virgin Music Australia. With the record, Logic1000 shares Mother’s final single, “Can’t Let Go”, a track that solidifies Poulter’s effortless knack for unshakable hooks.
Speaking of the album’s release, Poulter says: “The release of my album, ‘Mother’, marks everything I have been working on, both materially and spiritually. It is representative of a time when i broke into a million little pieces and built myself up again, piece by piece. I look back on this period, when Tom and I were writing the album, as the period of my life where the most personal growth had happened.
Motherhood stretched me, tied me in a knot, and then untangled me again to reveal a whole new person. I didn’t know this was happening at the time, but in retrospect, the change and transformation is super clear. I nearly gave up on my dreams, I basically fell into a heap – over and over again. but for the past while, I’ve been undergoing some pretty serious therapy, and have found my passion and love for music and life again. I love my job, being a mother, my relationship with Tom, the people I surround myself with, my home, and the life I have created for myself. I guess you could say this is our second baby!”
The album follows the launch of Poulter’s new podcast series Logic1000 & Helena Star Present: Therapy. Co-hosted by rising DJ/presenter Helena Star, the Therapy podcast sees two women navigating motherhood, mental health, and the ever changing landscape of the music industry. Stay tuned for special guests from across the creative industries and how their experiences of parenthood have shaped their careers. Listen and subscribe to the podcast now here.
Logic1000 has launched into 2024 with Australian performances at Beyond The Valley, Field Day, Heaps Good Festival and Boiler Room’s Sugar Mountain Festival. Recently, she was featured as NME’s The Cover star, while previous praise has included a Dazed Mix, a cover feature from Mixmag, a Resident Advisor Podcast, ongoing triple j support as well as rave reviews and widespread radio play across the board. Last year she capped all this off with performances at Primavera, Field Day (UK) and Coachella as well as a four night residency at London’s Phonox. Alongside her own work she also began to make a name for herself with high-profile remixes for the likes of Fever Ray, Christine and the Queens, Niia and more. On March 8, Logic1000 joined fabric’s International Women’s Day celebration in London, playing room 1.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
