LOTTE GALLAGHER
releases scorching
new EP
‘BLASÉ VENGEANCE’
.

“Darker, dancy, messy, fun, the way I would describe this EP is walking home from going out with your girlfriends and dancing all night. Laughing and stumbling down the street. You might be going through shit but in that moment nothing is wrong. For me this EP is about all different sorts of relationships but as always music is my outlet, I don’t hold the angry feelings. When I wrote the songs I felt all kinds of ways. But when I listen now I sing along and dance.” – Lotte Gallagher
Rising alt-pop artist Lotte Gallagher continues her ascent as one of Australia’s most exciting new voices, today releasing her fiery sophomore EP Blasé Vengeance with infectious new single ‘OUT OF PATIENCE’.
Blasé Vengeance, is a proud stride forward. For the 19-year-old songwriter, the stories featured on this EP are close to her heart and memory – a messy, cathartic clash of emotions that have ultimately led her to form a new layer of resilience and insight. The EP sees Lotte reunite with Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy), with whom she worked with on her debut, while also exploring new writing partnerships with renowned songwriters and producers Harry Charles and Ciarann Babbington.
A sharp, instantly likeable indie-pop anthem, new single ‘OUT OF PATIENCE’ was co-written with acclaimed New Zealand songwriter and producer Harry Charles (King Princess, Sycco and Reneé Rapp), showcasing Lotte’s knack for memorable hooks and whip-smart lyricism. The track details the universal girlhood experience of ‘dating an absolute LOSER that all your friends get to say “I told you so” about.’

Blasé Vengeance arrives following a string of standout singles, including ‘SHOWDOWN’, ‘PTRCK’ and ‘F U IN MORSE CODE’ – tracks that have earned spins across triple j and community radio, plus strong DSP support with New Music Friday placements and a Local Noise cover on Spotify, and playlisting on Apple Music’s New Music Daily, New In Indie and Superbloom. Frankie Magazine proclaimed, “If you like Billie Eilish, check out Lotte Gallagher for unparalleled vocals way beyond the artists age”.
After breaking through as an Unearthed High finalist, Lotte’s star rose throughout 2024 and into 2025. In October last year, she turned heads with her confident debut EP A Better Feeling – an assured and addictive collection of songs that combined the effortless cool of modern indie with the nostalgic energy of the 90s rock she was raised on. The EP yielded the popular lead single ‘Adam’ (over 1 million streams), and follow-ups ‘Gray’ and ‘This Room’, which resonated with a new wave of indie fans.
Since then, Lotte has opened for the likes of The Beaches, Ricky Montgomery, St Vincent, Matt Corby, Holy Holy and Telenova, as well as gracing festival stages such as Laneway, Bass In The Grass and Party In The Paddock. Earlier this year, Lotte performed (and sold-out) her first ever headline gigs in Melbourne and Sydney, debuting a brand-new band with a well-honed show.
In celebration of the release and showing no signs of slowing down, Lotte will bring Blasé Vengeance to the stage with headline shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November, joined by a stellar lineup of local supports – Vincent + Jemzel (Brisbane), Erica Avenue (Melbourne) and Will Baker (Sydney).

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
