On the eve of the release of CHVRCHES’ anticipated third album, Love Is Dead, it can today be announced that Grammy-nominated Sydney trio MANSIONAIR, and indie songstress WAFIA, will join the Glaswegian trio on their biggest ever Australian headline dates this July; forming a stellar three-act line up not to be missed. Mansionair and Wafia will warm all-ages crowds for CHVRCHES at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Sunday July 22nd and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Monday July 23rd.

Mansionair have had a whirlwind four years since releasing ‘Hold Me Down’ in early 2014, which received millions of streams and widespread praise from tastemakers around the world. The genre-defying  trio have sold out headline shows, played the coveted Laneway Festival and Splendour in the Grass and shared stages with the likes of Florence + the Machine, Alt-J and The Temper Trap. Last month, singer Jack Froggatt performed ‘Line of Sight’ live with ODESZA on the Coachella Main Stage. Mansionair’s latest single, ‘Violet City’, is out now.

Equipped with a vaporous voice as penetrating as a bullet, Brisbane-based artist, Wafia, is a star on the rise. Her list of collaborators includes Ben Abraham, Finneas and Ta-ku, while her songs have been championed by the likes of Pharrell Williams. Released earlier this year, her VIII EP features standout singles ‘Bodies’ and ‘Only Love’.  If that weren’t enough, she also made a special appearance at Coachella last month alongside Louis The Child, to perform their new single ‘Better Not’.
