Singer, songwriter and creative director MARÈT has released her debut self-titled EP. With her first two singles generating great success for the ambitious artist; this release promises still more captivating and percussive pop hits, accompanied by her trademark soaring vocals.
This debut EP is set strengthen the connection between her and her listeners; maintaining the lyrical openness and vulnerability she is becoming known for; while boasting pop grooves for the ages. A prolific collaborator, MARÈT’s debut has seen her work with numerous songwriters, as well as producer Jean-Paul Fung (Last Dinosaurs, Birds Of Tokyo, Lime Cordiale, Client Liason).
MARÈT’s fearless yet vulnerable, grounded but ambitious attitude allows the self-proclaimed “genre-less” artist to deeply connect with her audience. While her impressive body of work includes lighter moments; she’s not afraid to experiment. In fact, she explores dark, intense and primal soundscapes (‘I Am The Wind’), just as readily as she embraces graceful and tender themes (‘We Are Ready’).
MARÈT explains;
