Multi-platinum-selling Canadian pop-rock band Marianas Trench have their highly anticipated return to Australia next month, off the back of their huge run of US and Canada dates. The Force of Nature tour kicks off at the Triffid in Brisbane on June 12, before heading to Metro Theatre in Sydney on June 13 and wrapping up at 170 Russell in Melbourne on June 15.
Haven is their latest and sixth studio album, released in August last year and inspired by Joseph Campbell’s scholarly book, The Hero’s Journey. Haven is the band’s most ambitious, yet universally relatable, record yet – complete with huge orchestral and vocal arrangements, and, of course, crushingly big rock and roll elements aplenty.
Since their 2006 debut, Canadian band Marianas Trench has consistently raised the musical bar both in the studio and via their explosive live shows around the globe. Amongst their many accomplishments, the band has two certified Double-Platinum records, one Platinum record, a certified Gold-selling record, Triple-Platinum digital singles, and multiple awards including the JUNO Award for Group of the Year and chart-topping radio hits including “Stutter,” “Fallout,” and “Who Do You Love.”
