SOUND WEST is excited to announce that Masked Wolf lead an incredible line-up of Greater Western Sydney artists scheduled to perform and participate at SOUND WEST. Tech heavyweights from Shopify, TikTok, Spotify, Linktree, Culture Kings, Immutable X and Finder will be participating in the dedicated music and technology industries festival, SOUND WEST.
The event, secured by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, together with the City of Parramatta will be held in Parramatta from Saturday August 20 to Sunday 28 August, 2022. The program line-up, brings together brilliant minds, industry leaders and music enthusiasts to network and enjoy the creativity of Greater Western Sydney artists.
SOUND WEST offers a one-day conference at CommBank Stadium featuring keynote addresses, workshops and mentoring.
SOUND WEST also features live performances from established and emerging home-grown artists.
– 35 keynote sessions and workshops on Thursday 25 August.
– More than 15 live music events and music programs (mix of industry and general public events) in various Parramatta venues from Saturday August 20 to Sunday August 28.

SOUND WEST recognises the immense talent in Western Sydney, Australian rapper Masked Wolf will kick off the live events on Saturday 20th August 2022 at Saturday Sounds x Sound West, presented by the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium. The conference will feature sessions and workshops with hip hop artist and producer L-FRESH The Lion; Australian musician, singer, songwriter and rapper A.GIRL; and musician, poet and rapper NARDEAN as well as songwriters Khaled Rohaim and Styalz Fuego, and acclaimed NFT artists, Serwah Attafuah and Bianca Beers.
The conference program features Fonzie Gomez talking with Founder of Finder, Fred Schebesta on cryptocurrency and entrepreneurship; Australian of the Year, Paralympian and Ambassador for Australian tech leaders, NEC Australia, Dylan Alcott AO will share his experience building the world’s most accessible music festival, AbilityFest; Shopify with Culture Kings CEO, Simon Beard on How to Build a Streetwear Empire; and Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Linktree, Anthony Zaccaria will talk about the Linktree journey and building a global digital business used by millions of people every day. The conference also includes workshops and sessions with Triple J Unearthed, Music NSW First Nations Meet Up, TikTok: The Content Creators, The Area Movement: When Raw Talent is Not Enough, ACE: Creating Safe Spaces and much more.
