Adelaide based blues-rock/pop/country/folk (hard to catagorise) singer, Mason Lloyde is ready and pumped to release his first single “Free Man”, due to be streaming on your favourite platforms March 25th! Cleverly lining his release up with an appearance at “Country By The River’ Festival the next day down Murray Bridge.
Free Man delves into the less common topic of self worth. Not letting failure take control or hold you back. Becoming free. Produced by Adelaide local, Israel Amoy (Jethro Music/Bunker studios), Mason & Israel knocked this one out whilst COVID was swallowing the local music scene in Adelaide.
At a young age, teaching himself how to play Guitar, Mason was first inspired by Elvis Presley as he developed his own sound and musical abilities performing as a vocalist, unearthing elegant yet powerful and raspy vocals and developing an impressive vocal range. In 2020, Mason was a contestant on in the hit TV show ‘The Voice Australia’ as part of Kelly Rowland’s team, receiving positive comments from the judges including:
“Phenomenal!Amazingartistry”and whatarange!” – Delta Goodrem
“So Dynamic” & “Such an elegant voice! Nothing like I’ve ever heard” – Kelly Rowland
Performing frequently across South Australia, Mason has grown to be known as one of Adelaide’s best cover artists. Now is the time for him to make the leap into the originals world.
