In her newest charming folk-pop song, Maya Ixchell dives into heartbreak and grapples with impulsive thoughts of breaking away and starting a new life. On November 8th, she’ll let her thoughts out into the world in the form of ‘Hurricane’.
This Perth-based artist pulls from her real lived experiences to write heart-wrenching, breathtaking lyrics that stick with listeners. She’s opened for iconic performers like Hoodoo Gurus, Jon Stevens, Baby Animals, Mark Seymour, Fieldsy, Joan & The Giants, and Mitchell Martin. Her live shows have captured the hearts of the audiences at festivals like Nannup Music Festival, Out of the Woods Festival and Country Sounds Festival and at her West Coast Tour from Perth to Broome.
