Today, three-time, Grammy award-winning superstar, entrepreneur and philanthropist Megan Thee Stallion unleashed her new single “HISS,” which you can stream HERE via Hot Girl Productions.
The Houston native also dropped a corresponding lyric video to “HISS,” which you can find HERE. “HISS” showcases Megan’s propensity for delivering bars and reaffirms her place as one of hip-hop’s most talented and dominant lyricists. With “HISS” – which was produced by LilJuMadeDaBeat, Bankroll Got It and Shawn “Source” Jarrett – Megan doesn’t hold back and sets the record straight on her narrative. Aside from her fiery bars, she also shines with her lyrical prowess, starting off the song rapping “I feel like Mariah Carey, got these n****s so obsessed, my pussy so famous might get managed by Kris Jenner next.”
“HISS” continues the serpent-themed aspect of Megan’s recent solo releases. In Nov. 2023, she unveiledher single “Cobra,” which touched on mental health and focused on the importance of shedding the past and starting anew. Megan played an instrumental role in the production of “Cobra,” working closely with guitarist Diggy Lessard to perfect the beat. Aside from dropping solo music, the Houston native just collaborated with Reneé Rapp for the catchy hit “Not My Fault” from the Mean Girls soundtrack. They collectively appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend to perform the song and Megan also made a cameo in the acclaimed film, which debuted at No. 1 on the box office.
Megan has continued to show off her versatility, teaming up with NBC and the Olympics for a promotional spot to promote the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games taking place in Paris. In the spot, Megan reimagines the traditional games as “Thee Paris Olympics,” where she is spotted dancing at the Palace of Versailles with U.S. High Performance dressage horses as her backup dancers.
