Gritty, intoxicating, and charged with dangerous desire, No. 1 marks a commanding new chapter for Melbourne alt-pop provocateur Roxxie Simone – a sonic descent into obsession, power, and psychological unraveling. Drawing inspiration from the neo-noir aesthetics of The Batman and The Penguin series, No. 1 inhabits a rain-soaked world of shadowed cityscapes and emotional decay. It’s a slow burn of cinematic tension and gothic sensuality, weaving together hypnotic beats, dark pop production, and Roxxie’s sultry, volatile vocals.
“No. 1 is about being so consumed by someone that it becomes dangerous,” Roxxie shares. “It’s passion on the edge of psychosis — that blurred line between devotion and destruction.” Over smoldering synth lines and pulsing bass, Roxxie embodies a femme fatale energy that’s both magnetic and menacing. The track’s atmosphere echoes through deep reds and bruised plums — a sonic mirror of the song’s themes of toxic love, violence, and possession.
Emerging from Melbourne’s shadowy underground pop scene, Roxxie Simone crafts cinematic worlds that blur the line between fantasy and mania. With No. 1, she channels the gothic futurism of Gotham Knights and the vampiric allure of BloodRayne, translating them into sound — sleek, dangerous, and emotionally unhinged.
Recorded in June 2025, No. 1 was self-written by Roxxie, capturing a raw, visceral energy that feels both intimate and explosive. Every lyric cuts with precision; every vocal tremor feels like a confession.
‘No. 1’ is released on the 28th of October 2025.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
