Praise for MIGHTY OAKS
“Mighty Oaks’ songs acquire a further and deeper meaning once you hear them live as singer Ian Hooper likes telling the stories behind some of the songs during shows… despite getting more and more well known remain genuine and very down-to-earth, which is one of the most admirable qualities they have aside their obvious talent. ” – Indie Nation
“I think “Dreamers” might be one of the catchiest, yet classiest Folk albums I’ve heard in a while. It offers a fantastic selection of tempos; dreamy and beautiful ballads, as well as up-beat Folk-Rock track.” – Vanessa Jertschewske, House in the Sand
“Mighty Oaks write honest, authentic and emotionally driven songs. With songs set amidst wonderful landscapes come tales of love, loss and the beauty of all that surrounds. We talk to the band about their solid bond, feeling vulnerable about critics and climbing trees…” – The Seventh Hex

Berlin-based indie folk trio Mighty Oaks are ringing in the new year with the start of their most impressive and exciting era yet, kicking off with the release of single “Tell Me What You’re Thinking”, which was revealed last Friday 17th of January. This track is the final taste of the trio’s new album “All Things Go”, before its release on Friday 7th February.
“‘Tell Me What You’re Thinking’ is about relationships in the social media age where communication is integral but people are getting worse and worse at looking each other in the eyes,” said the band. “Everything is digital, emoji, SMS, passive communication. You can never understand someone if you can’t learn to speak to them. This song is about someone who cannot gauge their partner.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
