New Single ‘Won’t Bother Me’ Out Now

21-year old Kiwi singer songwriter Mitch James already has New Zealand talking since the release of his singles ‘No Fixed Abode’ and ‘Move On’. Since its debut, ‘No Fixed Abode’ has amassed over 4.7 million streams and ‘Move On’ close to 1.3 million streams worldwide. Mitch James now returns with his follow-up single ‘Won’t Bother Me.’ With his music often described as reminiscent of Ed Sheeran, Mitch is inspired by his own stories of travel, survival, big dreams and curiosity to see the world.

At the age of seventeen, Mitch left home with a one way ticket to London, a guitar strapped to his back and twenty pounds in his pocket. With nowhere to stay and no one to call on, Mitch used his music as a vehicle for survival. Busking in train stations and singing in pubs did not always provide him with the means to survive, which meant he often slept in bus stops and on the cold streets of London. It was through this expedition and time of solitude that Mitch wrote the large majority of his repertoire.

Mitch has returned home after his Humble Roadie Tour, his first ever headline tour. Mitch is straight back in the studio and ready to record after writing non-stop for six months. Over the upcoming weeks, Mitch will release a single a week to build momentum excitement around his music.
