East Coast Australian Tour
for December

Frontier Touring is amped to welcome Belarusian band Molchat Doma back to Australia for an east coast tour this December.
Standing at the intersection of post-punk, new-wave and synth-pop, Molchat Doma have been touring their fourth album Belaya Polosa around the world since 2024. This December they’ll bring their pulsating live show to the Forum Melbourne on Wednesday 17 December, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday 18 December and The Tivoli in Brisbane on Saturday 20 December.
“Molchat Doma’s music is so mystically self-possessed that it’s hard not to wish you were part of the magic, too.” – Pitchfork
“This album embraces its darkness, but doesn’t wallow in hopelessness. Instead, the music listens like an apocalyptic dance party, fusing post-punk, new wave and synth-pop to create a moody but compulsively listenable record.” – 8/10 Loud & Quiet
Founded in Minsk, Belarus, and now based in Los Angeles, Molchat Doma went viral in 2020 when their single ‘Sudno (Boris Ryzhy)’ appeared in hundreds of thousands of TikTok videos. The track eventually peaked at number two on the Spotify Global Viral 50 chart and has amassed over 350 million streams.
In the wake of their breakthrough success and release of their anticipated third album Monument, the trio endured a polarity of experiences, from the nadir of an uprooted life and forced relocation away from their native Minsk to the apex of headlining massive shows and festivals across the world. It was in this headspace that the band settled into their new home of Los Angeles to finish writing their fourth album Belaya Polosa, a testament to change in difficult times, a love letter to the digital pulse of the ‘90s, and a technicolour reinvention of the band’s somber dancefloor anthems.
From the opening synth swell and drum machine throb of ‘Ty Zhe Ne Znaesh’ Kto Ya’, it’s clear that Molchat Doma are operating on another level. Belaya Polosa propels them into a new direction, encapsulating the band’s sonic development and their behind-the-scenes struggles, while retaining the cold minimalist delivery they’re known for.
Dark yet danceable, and infused with a heavy dose of goth ethos, their music is reminiscent of the masters who predate them – but make no mistake, Molchat Doma create a sound and meaning that is unmistakably their own.
Australia, get ready to experience the darker side of the dancefloor when Molchat Doma arrive this December. Tickets on sale Tuesday 14 October.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
